New Champion!!
Maiya finished at the Minnesota shows Jan. 5, 2008 with a 4 point major over a bitch special!! Maiya is our first Shiba that we ever bred. She is out of Toby and Shiann and she is everything that we wanted. A great temperament, nice head, beautiful coat, nice strong front and a great rear to follow. Her first shows were Madison on May 6th in the bred-by class. She took winners bitch for 2 points and on Sunday took reserve to a major. She received her first major in June by taking the breed over a special. She took winners bitch and best of opposite over a bitch special at Waukesha the same day Toby took the breed. That was a very nice win that I am very proud of. I am hoping she follows in her parents foot steps and enjoys the agility ring. In June we left Canada with a new Championship. She finished with two group 2, a group 3 and a group 4. We have our first home-bred champion completely shown out of the Bred-by class. She will now start her agility career. We bred her to Taki and she had 2 boys and a girl on March 27th .
