For 13 years I worked for a
professional handler, Nancy C. Russell. She taught me how to
properly care, train, and show dogs. In 1998 Nancy decided that
judging was more for her so I went off on my own. I ranked
Tetsu, BIS Ch. Tetsuryu GO Sanuki, to the #4 shiba in 6 short
months before he ritired in 1999. I have finished a number of
different breeds throughout the years. I have also shown the
first black and tan Shiba Inu to ever take Grand Sweeps at a
National Speciality, Ch. Blue Loon's Hannah Banana. (picture
down below.)
Some of the breeds I have shown are
Akitas, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskeys, Dobermans,
Newfoundlands, Australian Shepherds, Golden Retrievers,
Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Chihuahuas, and Shiba Inus.
I am a certified veterinarian
technician assistant.
Alex and I live on 10 quiet acres with
outdoor kennels and plans to put up a building with indoor/outdoor
runs. Alex built me a great grooming room in the basemenst with
everything I need to get dogs ready for a show.
So, please take some time to look at
some of the dogs I have shown and feel free to contact me if you
have any questions.
